About Kali's Cleats
What we do
Our mission to promote sports and encourage social development, the organization collects used soccer equipment from individuals, schools, and sports clubs across the United States. The collected items are carefully sorted, repaired if necessary, and then shipped to communities in need.
Why we do it
Soccer, also known as football, holds a special place in the hearts of people around the world. In third world countries, where poverty and adversity prevail, soccer emerges as more than just a game. It becomes a source of hope, unity, and empowerment for individuals and communities. We do this to help support soccer because of what it yields.
Who are we
We are parents and players who donate the equipment, we are volunteers who run the program and we are generous supporters who help distribute the equipment. At the core is a soccer dad who went to Costa Rica and saw the stark contrast between abundance and scarcity and is trying to do something about it.
